An Invitation...
A 'Golden Age of Travel' inspired wedding held in an 1881 townhouse in New York's West Village called for a modern twist to vintage. Details were incorporated into the travel wallet by way of the expanding New York map in the shape of a luggage tag, removable RSVP postcard & deco inspired type treatment/borders. Extra dimension was given to the invitation with die-cut aeroplanes. The couple's Crest was designed to represent their nationalities & their place of marriage, giving a regal edge to their invitation-cum-passport. The design was carried through to menu, seating tags, placecards and the RSVP returned postcards acted as an extra memento in their designed guestbook.
Recycled cardstock & papers (varying lbs), aeroplane die-cut & envelope seal, black linen envelopes silver lined, vanilla labels, American flag stamps.
